Norm Frates is the Auctioneer
On Sunday November 5th, The Woodstock Rotary held a gala event at the Woodstock Inn.
It was a special event to kickoff the our fundraising campaign to replace the Mt. Tom Star.
Norm is the chairman of the fundraising campaign and was interviewed on WCTV about the need to replace the star.
140 people from the Woodstock community came out to support our efforts and at the end of the evening $78,000 had been raised or pledged.
An excellent start to our goal of $120,000.
For those who missed the event, contributions can still be made.
The star will have 100 lights and we are offering donors the opportunity to purchase a light at several donation levels.
Platinum -             $5000
Gold -                   $2500
Silver -                  $1000
Bronze -                $500
Donors at these tiered levels will be listed on plaques at the star in appreciation for their generous donation.
Fundraising is expected to continue through March, but we might be done earlier if Sunday’s event is any indication.
If you would like to make a contribution, you can make contributions directly to the Woodstock Area Rotary Charitable Fund
